STUDENT DORMITORY TRSAT

 

Student dormitory Trsat was opened in September 2016 as a result of a project of the European Union and University of Rijeka. Dormitory is a part of the university campus on Trsat in Rijeka. The first guests in Student dormitory Trsat were students participating in the

 

European University Games.
 
Student dormitory consists of three pavilions with modern design, providing quality living and studying conditions for its residents. The three pavilions cater to student's needs and requests, offering a very good standard of living and ensuring the safety of all residents.
 
Accommodation in Student dormitory Trsat is limited to target groups associated with University of Rijeka and its constituent. Accommodation in Student dormitory Trsat can be given only if accommodation is in accordance with project TRIS.
 
 
Accommodation services
 
Student dormitory Trsat offers accommodation for students and professors and other guests of the University and Polytechnic of Rijeka. Student dormitory Trsat offers two types of accommodation for students:
·         subsidized accommodation  for students who have a right to subsidized accommodation;
·         non - subsidized accommodation for students who don’t have a right to subsidized accommodation – Erasmus students.
 

Students are accommodate in double rooms or single bed apartments for students. Professors and other teaching staff and other guests of the University and Polytechnic of Rijeka are accommodate in single bed apartments.

Safety
 
The three pavilions of Student dormitory Trsat cater to student's needs and requests, offering a very good standard of living and ensuring the safety of all residents. Accommodation facilities are covered by fire alarm system, video surveillance system, hydrant system, fire extinguishers and special emergency exits.
 
 
Internet
 
Accommodation users use free Internet by connecting to a local area network (CARNET).Facilities are equipped with wired and wireless network. To use CARNET network, users must have their own AAI@Edu.hr user account issued by their main institution - faculty. The network is called eduroam. If you connect to the Internet otherwise, the service will be paid under the terms of CARNET.   • 5 single rooms for disabled students
  • 130 flats designed with two double rooms that share doorway, loggia, bathroom, toilet and kitchen

  • Place for exercising and gym on ground floor
  • Infirmary on ground floor 


Pavilion 2: Ground floor and six floors

  • 24 single bed apartments for professorsteaching staff and other guests of the University of Rijeka.
  • 5 single rooms for disabled students
  • 130 flats designed with two double rooms that share doorway, loggia, bathroom, toilet and kitchen
  • Total number of toilets: 95
  • IT classroom on ground floor 


Pavilion 4: Ground floor and five floors

  • 84 flats designed with two double rooms that share doorway, loggia, bathroom, toilet and kitchen
