STUDENT SERVICE

In order to get a job (s), students need to join to Student Service. After that, students can get the contract and work for employer(s). The status of full - time student is claimed through a credible and authentic document (the student Index - a certified Student Blue Book which contains all relevant information about the student, along with a certificate issued by a higher education institution), based on which the Student Service membership card is issued to the student.
 
 
For each salary (monthly) student has to get a new contract. After the work is done, the employer must certify and sign the contract. It should be send to the address of Student Service in Rijeka or can be delivered by the student in person. In order to make the procedure faster, employers can send contracts by fax (051 452 135) or by e-mail (studentservis@scri.uniri.hr). Also, employers can get their bill on the same way (by fax or e-mail). In this case they should send a copy of the contract to a Students Service. 
 
 
The employer is obligated to pay the delivered bill within 15 days. After the employer pays the bill to the Student Service, student earnings will be automatically transferred on student’s bank account. 
 
 
By joining up the Student Service, students can get a user name and PIN number to access the site (WEB SERVICE) where they can make a contract without visiting Student Service’s office. Also, on the web service students can see their earning(s).

IMPORTANT NOTICES TO STUDENTS WHO WORK THROUGH STUDENT CENTER RIJEKA
 
In case when Student Service is NOT intercessor between the employer and student (students find employer by themselves), Student Service will NOT be responsible for payment. 
 
In case when Student Service is intercessor between the employer and student, Service will be responsible for payment. 
 
 
 
NOTE FOR EMPLOYERS!
The employer must join Student Service in order to give a job to students. 
This is done by filling a special form.
The employer does not have to enter into a special agreement with Student - Service. The procedure is much simpler: Student takes contract and gives it to employer. After the job is done, he should return it back. Before returning, contract must be signed and verified by employer. Signed and verified contract should be returned on the above mentioned address.
